Learning About Currencies
Otto and I decided to spend some time looking at all the money his Nana has bought back from her overseas trips. We began with her latest money from Norway. We were about the separate all the coins into different denominations and then work out their Australian value using a handy “Currency Cheat Sheet” she bought back.

Otto used his fingers to keep track of how many “Krone’s” we had and then we converted them into Australian currency.we discovered 47 Krone = $7.41 Australian dollars.

We then organised out a whole bunch of other currencies into their correct country of origin. We now have money from: The USA, Panama, Cuba, European Union, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Mauritius, India, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Thailand and of course Australia.
