I think We’ve Caught the Fishing Bug
We all went fishing today and it was a lot of fun.It was Otto’s first time and he managed to catch two fish!! Atticus didn’t catch any but he fished for over two hours never complaining of being bored or hot.
Both boys were able to handle the raw prawns and put them on their hooks themselves. In fact both were able todo most of their fishing independent of me (which is big) and occasionally ask their friend Bentley or his nan Cath for some help. This was a great opportunity to practice some socialisation and feel ok asking someone who is not me to help them.
Atticus didn’t catch a fish this time but he was able to manage his emotions and push through his disappointment and even be happy for his brother.
